Youtube!

Hello!

Internet is like an universe. There are millions and billions of stuff you can find and look for! One of my favourite pages is YouTube. YouTube is the mecca of online videos. I think is fantastic! but it's dangerous too: I've wasted hours and hours watching useless videos instead of doing something I really needed. This page is just enormous: there's a video for anything you can even imagine.
I remember when  we hadn't YouTube. We used to watch tiny videos in the worst quality ever! Now we are able to change the quality if we want, or choose the size of the screen.
Like I said before, there's a video for any people in the world. And my favourite videos on YouTube are the ones who shows little puppys or tiny cats doing something cute or funny. That's a dimension of YouTube that I really REALLY enjoy.
Maybe I visit YouTube all days: everyday happens something that it has to be shown. I remember one time  my friends and me spend like four hours in a row watching funny or creepy videos, because we were at the university waiting for a class. It was awesome, we learn about us and about the internet's culture. (that's a big fat lie)
I don't like to comment on internet about videos, because is useless. But sometimes,  when I watch a video I really like, I click on the button "I like"  but not often.
Of course I've uploaded a video on YouTube! When I was in highschool, in 2nd grade, me and my friends used to make videos all the time! we had an awesome channel online! I was a big star on that videos, and I'm ashamed of the stupid things I did. But they were funny at that time. All my friends almost convinced me of being an actress. What kind of actress? I don't know, because our videos were, at least, abstract. Later, I changed my school and I don't longer keep doing this videos. But then I started to make roll plays. Roll plays were assingments  for english's class. We had to make a video about a book we were reading in that class: we had to make the scripts, produce and editing our homemades videos. My groups always make poor videos. Even If we were representing a story from two centurys ago, we wear the same clothes. Even if we were representing differents characters.
Here you can watch a scene for a roll play that almost ends with my life. We were doing "Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, I was playing the main caracter (I don't remember her name), and my friend was playing   Mr. Darcy. In this scene, he was supposed to save me, because I just had a big accident. But...we ended falling in front of a wall that had a window, we were  two inches away to pass cross the window! cutting and hiting ourselfs and maybe dying. I uploaded the video and then my mom called me to know if I was alive. Even my friends were worried. It was funny, I think.

Eat and habits

Hello!

Today's topic is about food and eat habits. I'll try to answer some questions like: ¿Am I a vegetarian?, ¿Do I like fast food? and more.
The first think I have to tell you is that I love food. When is well cocked, it can be amazing. However, it's a fact there's a lot of  food that I dislike. I don't regulary eat fried food, because oily stuff  it's not my favourite texture, and it's not healthy at all. That principle applies to sweet or salad recepies.  Sometimes I eat homemade french fries or sopaipillas, but it happens like...two times in a year. I'm more into grilled food.
I'm a big fan of veggies, even though I'm not a vegetarian  (I love fish! If I could, I would like to be a big bear hunting salmon in lakes.) Salads are awesome! Mixed veggies prepared with love and not too condimented are my favourite meal. I feel nice when I eat salads for lunch. But,  I don't like all veggies...for example, I hate peas. I HATE PEAS.  I can't tolerate peas in my meals.
Iugh

During all my childhood, I also hated beetroots. I don't know why. This year they started to taste so good. This makes me  so confused: did I grow up? or they alwayss  tasted fine and I was blind? or tasteless? what's the problem with my tonge?
Beetroot is a very healthy vegetable
My favourite vegetable all times is Zucchini. My philosophy of eating beggins with: you can add zucchini to everything, and it will be just amazing. Grilled, baked, sauted, stewed, ALL PREPARATIONS.

I don't eat fast food in restaurants. Pizza is not fast food. If you eat  in Telepizza or pizzahut, you may consider it like fast food. But I like to prepare my own pizzas at home. When you prepare a good dough, and your ingredients are vegs and not only meat, it becomes a gourmet meal. The only problem with pizza it's the cheese. But cheese is never a problem, If you don't abuse of it. You can calmly eat pizza if cheese isn't a regulary diary on your diet.
I consider as a fast food things like hot-dogs, hamburguers, french fries, etc. I don't buy them, anywhere. I only eat hot dogs when my family does. But my dream is get to eat a krabby Patty's from
Krusty krabs restaurant. The big problem is that I live on the surface of earth and I'm not a sea cartoon, or Sandy the squirrel. And no one can now the secret formula.
My eating habits are normal. I always take my breakfast at home. This meal consist in toasted loans of integral bread, with fresh cheese and avocado, tomatoes, or dills with lettuce. I prefer fresh stuff for breakfast. I eat my amazing morning sandwich with black tea, or milk. This happens at 8.30 am.
I try to eat fruits or healty snacks during the meals, at 10.30 am and 17.00 pm. My lunch consist in a meal that considers proteins, veggies, and carbs. I eat it  when the morning classes are over, even if it's too early (like, 12.30, 13.00pm). Last week, I invented other snack, called midnight tacos. I prepare those tacos exactly at midnight, when I'm studying and I now I won't finish early. Midnight tacos are a slice of tortilla with lettuce, tomatoes, etc. They are really yummy!

Nature

Hello!

The subject for this friday it's about enviroment awareness. It's hard for me to say that I care about the  nature because sometimes I feel I just don't, even if I try to recycle all my thrash. In my house we have three diferent garbage cans, where we classify the trash in: all kind of plastic bundle, like bags, stock markets, bottles, or paper from tea bags, notebooks, newspaper, wine bottles, tetrapack boxes, electric junk, all kind of scrap, paperboard, expired medical drugs,  old batteries, even nasal inhalers. When we fill the cans, my mother or father takes the classify trash and goes to the "Punto Limpio", a place in near Vitacura who recycles all the stuff you can imagine. But that's not enough. I think that's a basic habit. In my case, I can't do anything more than throwing away organic residuals to the tradtional trash, because I live in a flat.
"Punto Limpio"

Before I knew about "Punto Limpio", I used to made Eco-bricks, filling plastic bottles with plastic trash. But this way of recycling was not very productive, because it takes too many time. Although, with ecological bricks, people is making things like parks, houses, etc.
Here is a picture eco bricks piled up at GAM

But recycling it's only one  way to take care the enviroment. There's a lot of ONGs trying to stop the global warming, and providing some help to the constant harassmment from industries to forests and animals. I know I can do more about this. I'm ashamed of  my laziness.

Hello sailors!

I'm so excited because  today's topic is PETS AND ANIMALS! I love having pets, they're so adorable when you treat  them with love and responsability. My favourite pet all the time used to be dogs, but ultimately, I've discovered turtles. Turtles are so cool. So today I'm going to  talk  about my experiences with pets. During my life, I have had two dogs, or two dows and a half. My first dog was called Pelusa, who was a homeless puppy that my parents found alone and wet in San Cristobal's hill. She was more like my dog-sister, because we grow up together, and having the same age. But she died a cuple of years ago and it was the saddest thing I ever been through. Untill today, when I think about her eyes, I cry a little bit. So it's delicated for me to talk about her. But it's harmless write about the good times with her! She was wild, non-humanized dog,  indomitable, but also very adorable and kind. She was always there protecting us when me or my brothers where sick or sad. I used to have a priceless relationship with her. By the time she died, we have adopted another dog, also a homeless dog. He's an american cocker, called Joe Cocker, also know as Yoyo, yoyi, royo. He's alive and I miss him when I'm at the university. He makes me happy. My dog has a really strong personallity. He's a rock star and he know it. Tomatoes and petting are his favourites things in the world. I also have had another dog, it was my sister's dog. She's name is Pimienta and its a cocker too. She's so cute and tiny! But now she's in Berlin and I miss her a lot. I can't wait to see her again. Pelusa, Joe Cocker and Pimienta meet each other very well. They spare a lot of time together, and Joe Cocker and Pimienta were lovers.
That's all my dog experience.
Last year, I meet my boyfriend's turtle. She's name is daughter. So, as the girlfriend of my boyfriend, I adopted as a daughter too. She's my first turtle crush. I used to think that petting turtles was boring. But I was SO WRONG that I'm ashamed of my thoughts.

Banksy's week

Hello sailors!
This friday it's about news related to my career. This week has been a good time for art news. During the days, newsletters has covered all Banksy's moves on New York. Banksy is a british artist, well knowing for his Street art. He defines himself as a graffiti artist and political activist (he's a several dissident of capitalism, animal torture, and other causes).
Yesterday, theguardian.com released a column about the work he has been developing and showing to the citizens of USA. He's last performance was about one of the symbols of capitalism, and the way people are slaved by it. The artist put a giant Ronald McDonals in front of the fast food chain who carries the name of this famous clown. But this clown  was a representation of a corporated boss. Under his feets, there was someone (who was a real person) giving a shine-shoe on McDonal's boots. Like Jhonatan Jones writes on this review "He (Banksy) is the genious of the obvious." According to Jones, Banky's works it's obvious this time because he thinks that we all are conscious about the exploitation and the capital gain that McDonal's generate. He says "Look, it's a bit pointless mocking American capitalism, Banksy"- But I think  he's awareness it's not only to mocking about capitalism. He's  not mocking at all. He's worried about the way we get used to accept some images, worried about political aestheticism. Banksy is not defying authorities. What he wants is  making

Japanese animation

Hello sailors!

Today we're talking about japanese animation. This is so easy because I've seen a lot of it with my sister and brother. Before talking about my favourite one, it's necessary to explain what an anime is. Basically, japanese animation it's animation made  in Japan. There's a bunch of types, I think there's a type of anime for any kind of person.
Like I said before,  I've seen a lot of animes series during my life, but my favourite it's Hayao Miyazaki's work. But that's too obvious for anyone, because I'm really into telling everyone that I LOVE TOTORO. So I'm not talking of it today. (I'm talking of it in the next video!).

What makes me watch anime? My brothers, and ultimately, my boyfriend. Last month we saw this trendy anime, called Shingeki no Kyojin and it was very complicated because my brothers wanted to watch this serie with me or comment it after seeing the chapters and they couldn't because I was watching Shingeki with my boyfriend too, and he hasn't the time to watch it regulary, and he was watching the serie with his sister too! But we made it. We saw the entire serie and it was AWESOME.

Shingeki no Kyojin EPIC CHAPTER

I thing anime has influenced my life. I guess it's a thing of my generation: the animation in open television was anime. We all saw the same anime series. If you don't kow who Sakura Card Captor is, you're too young. Or maybe too old.

If I have ever listened to any songs from anime soundtracks?  singing anime soundtracks from the 90's and the first years of 2000 IS THE BEST KARAOKE EVER. I'm really into that. It's fun. It's a thing I do all the time. If you are capable to sing pokémon songs then you're my friend. I play pokémon games too. Now I'm playing pokémon light platinum. Is the best game eveeer!
But time it's up and I will no longer stay in class!

See you soon!

Italy or whatever

Hello sailors!
Today's topic is about countries I'd like to visit. Travelling and visiting other cities it's very fun when you're not afraid to walk alone and get lost in the streets you have never been before. There are many places you can go in a big city: museums, famous restaurants, parks, etc. It depends of you. In my case, I'm more like a museum girl. Some other people prefer to pay for a guide guy with a bus and all stuff included, but I don't, because in those tours you're not allow to take more time that it's expected in the places they carry you on. I prefer to watch and to enjoy calmly.
One of the countries I'd love to visit it's Italy. It's a very long trip but I thing Italy worth it. Mostly, because of the magnificent food I guess they cook and all the monuments they have in there. We all know and can find Italy in maps because it looks like a women's boot.

As you can see, Italy looks like a boot.
Because I'm an art student, I'm supposed to say things like: "Oh, Italy it's important because they were one of the biggest art center in Renaissance" I know. I know it's important to me to see all the culture they keep in their cities. But not today. It's almost 12.00 pm and I'm hungry. All I wish is to eat some lasagna. I'm lucky because it's friday's spaguetti in my house and today we're eating lasagna.I'm not in the mood of watching and talking of arquitecture or sculpture or art pieces. If teletransportation were real, I'd happily teletransport myself to any restaurant in Italy and get some slice of pizza.

That's all. I'm hungry and I wanna travel to my home right now.

I can smell my lunch from here

Eddited: I ate lasagna and it was delicious.
